Roslyn Rutherford

My mother, Roslyn Rutherford, was born in October 1893, at Murrumbidgee, New South Wales. In 1917 she went to England, where she worked in military hospitals as a masseuse. She spent a year with the Almeric Padgett Massage Corps at Leeds, and then joined the Scottish Womens Hospital Auxiliary at Royaumont abbey near Paris. Her letters home give an interesting picture of life in a military hospital. I have transcribed them all, and published them here.

I will add other information relating to the Riordan family when time and inclination permits.
