In its early days, the Internet promised to revolutionise the way we communicate. Unfortunately, however, the unforeseen flood of spam has seriously compromised its value. 'Anti-spam protocol' describes a suggested way in which the authors of e-mail could be made to pay a small sum for each recipient of their e-mail.

I believe that this would largely eliminate the current flood of Spam which is clogging up the system.
